about header

Jessica Bartram has been drawing since she could hold a marker, and has been applying narratives to said images for just as long. Her work, mainly watercolours and 3D paper sculptures, aims to illuminate strange new lands previously obscured by the mists of time and tell the stories of a plethora of strange creatures (both human and non) through a combination of visual art and writing.

She graduated in 2007 with a BA in English and History from the University of Guelph, and has had two solo exhibitions and a smattering of group shows since then. She is currently studying Graphic Design at OCAD while simultaneously creating her next solo show, which will be hung at Freedom Clothing Collective in February 2012.
